We Change More Than

Just Language!

The language we use not only describes the world around us but also shapes our perception of reality. Unfortunately, pejorative terms for animals still present in everyday speech can reinforce negative stereotypes.

The world is constantly changing, and so is the role of animals in our lives. We believe language should evolve alongside these changes, reflecting new attitudes and understanding. The words we choose have a tangible impact on how we view our four-legged friends.

Project Goals

Changing societal perceptions of dogs:
Promoting a positive image of dogs by eliminating pejorative terms and stereotypes embedded in language.

Increasing language awareness:
Organizing debates, workshops, and competitions to showcase how language shapes our perception of animals.

Introducing new language norms
that reflect the evolving role of dogs in our lives.

As in all our initiatives, the Dog Education project emphasizes collaboration with top experts in their respective fields. We believe that only by combining knowledge, experience, and passion can we effectively transform the reality for both humans and animals.

That’s why we invite specialists in education, language, psychology, and humane approaches to animals to join our project. We are proud that our working meetings are attended by outstanding experts, such as Professor Jan Miodek from the University of Wrocław and Jarosław Delewski, Director of the Department of Education.

Their expertise and commitment have contributed invaluable insights and ideas, helping to develop the project and support our mission.

We Rely on Experts!
